Vinmonopolet has the ambition to become one of Norway's best companies in terms of sustainability. The overall increasing environmental awareness creates expectations for their work and they are responsable to offer products that enable consumers to make sustainable choices. Social responsibility is also the basis when they request products that are certified Fairtrade or Fair for Life. At the same time, Vinmonopolet aim to reduce the environmental impact in the organizition and in the supply chain. 

Vinmonopolet has already announced that all tenders below 150NOK must be delivered in light weight packaging, in this years plan, this also goes for some products above 150NOK. The trend with environmental-friendly packaging is here to stay. Like previous years there is various types of environmental-friendly packaging and alternetive packaging, such as aluminium bottles and plastic, in the specification. We believe that this will be important in the future and apply most types of products. This will ensure that the packaging is recycled and does not end up in nature.

Baden or Pfalz Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) 
Single grape variety Pinot Blanc (100%), organic wine from vintage 2021 with discreet or no influence of wood. 750ml glass bottle, maximum 200NOK.
Wine with aromatic qualities and concentration for basic assortment, possible one-lot. 

Franken Silvaner, Ortswein 
Singe grape variety Silvaner (100%) with discreet or no influence of wood. Vintage 2021, 750ml glass bottle, maximum 225NOK. 
Wine with aromatic qualities and concentration for basic assortment, possible one-lot. 
Only one offer per producer. If more than one offer is submitted by the same producer the lowest priced offer will be assessed, regardless of wholesaler. 

Baden or Pfalz Chardonnay 
Single grape variety Chardonnay (100%) from a single vineyard, name of single vineyard must appear on front label.
Wine with concentration and complexity, discreet ot no influence of wood. Vintage 2020 or more recent in 750ml glass bottle, maximum 425NOK. 
For basic assortment, possible one-lot. 

German Sparkling white wine, Riesling
Wine must be based on 100% Riesling and 100% of the grapes must come from either Mosel, Rheinhessen or Pfalz, written confirmation from producer must accompany the offer. 
Brut or Extra Brut, made from traditional method, with min. 15 months bottle ageing on lees, written confirmation from producer must accompany the offer.
The wine should have complexity and concentration, in a 750ml glass bottle, maximum 300NOK. 
Only one offer per producer, if more than one offer is submitted by the same producer the lowest priced offer will be assessed, regardless of wholesaler. 
For basic assortment, possible one-lot.

Mosel Riesling
Single grape variety Riesling (100%) kabinett, spontaneously fermented, written confirmation from producer must accompany the offer. Minimum 45 g of sugar / l, certificate of analysis must accompany the offer. Wine with aromatic qualities and complexity. Vintage 2022 in light weight packaging 750ml, maximum 200NOK. 
For basic assortment, possible one-lot. Possible simultaneous launch of 150cl bottle if available. 

Spätburgunder Rosé 
Single grape variety Pinot Noir (100%), organic wine with max. 3g of sugar / l. Wine must have aromatic qualities and complexity, vintage 2022. Simultaneous launch of 750ml light weight packaging and 3000ml BiB. 750ml recyclable light weight packaging under 420g and 3000ml BiB.
Maximum price 750ml 175NOK, 3000ml 550NOK. 
Only one offer per manufacturer, if more than one offer is submitted from the same manufacturer only the lowest priced offer will be assessed for purchase, regardless of wholesaler. 
If PET or aluminium packaging, the packaging must be included in Norway's deposit system of refundable packaging. 

Rhienhessen, Pfalz or Nahe Riesling
Single grape variety Riesling (100%), max. 8 g of sugar / l with white or transparent tap with no use of "carbon black" plastic. 
Wine with aromatic quality and concentration. Vintage 2022 in 3000ml BiB, maximum 600NOK.
Inner bag: no aliminium as outer layer and max. 5 microns thick aluminium layer if aluminium is used as intermediate layer ("technical specifications sheet" from producers of the packaging must acompany the offer). 
Oxygen permeability of the packaging: <2cm3/m2/24timer/1atm ("technical specifications sheet" from producer of the packaging must accompany the offer.)
Outer carton box with no use of metal or plastic layers. 
Possible simultaneous launch of rPET-bottle with specifications as for 202307001, if available.
