Tenders July - December 2016
Vinmonopolet releases a list every year with tenders. They search for wines from specific areas with specified criteria, and all who produce this certain type of wine are welcome to submit their products to Vinmonopolet through their importer. For the second half of 2016 they are looking for 5 wines from Germany.

July release, Riesling and Sauvignon blanc
Pfalz Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc
QBA based on 100% Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. Both grape varieties must appear on the front label. The wine should be bottled in PET of 75cl.
They seek a wine with aromatic quality and mouthfeel for the basic assortment. 2015 vintage in the price range above NOK 125,00.
Rheinhessen Riesling
QMP Kabinett or QBA with minimum equivalent oechsle level according to Kabinett. 100% Riesling sourced from Nackenheim, Nierstein or Schwabsburg.
The wine should have 30-45 grams residual sugar a litre, have aromatic qualities and concentration from 2015 vintage. Bag in box of 225cl in the price range above NOK 300 for the basic assortment.
September release, two Rieslings
Pfalz Riesling
VDP Grosse Lage, single grape variety Riesling from Jesuitengarten, Grosses Gewächs from vintage 2015. Bottled in glass bottle of 75cl. They seek a wine with concentration and complexity. One-lot range minimum 372 bottles with possibility of listing in the basic assortment. The price level is above Nok 400.
Rheinhessen Riesling
VDP Grosse Lage single grape variety, Riesling Grosses Gewächs from vintage 2015. From Nackenheim and Nierstein: Pettenthal, Rothenberg or Ölberg. Bottled in glass bottles of 75 cl. They seek a wine with concentration and complexity in the price range over NOK 400. One-lot range minimum 372 bottles with possibility of listing in the basic assortment.
November release,
Württemberg Riesling.
VDP Erste Lage, single grape variety Riesling from vintage 2015. They seek a wine with concentration and complexity with no influence from Botrytis Cinerea.
Bottled in glass bottles of 75 cl in the price range over NOK 250, for the basic assortment.
