Vinmonopolet releases a list twice a year with tenders. They search for wines from specific areas with specified criteria, and all who produce this certain type of wine are welcome to submit their products to Vinmonopolet through their importer. For the first half of 2018 they are looking for 4 different wines from Germany.

Mosel Riesling
Singel grape variety, 100% Riesling. Prädikatswein or QbA. Producer must be located in Mosel and grapes must be sourced from Saar or Ruwer. Max 9 g/l suger. Max 11,5% alcohol must appear on the label. Vintage 2017 in glass bottle of 75 cl. Price up to 175 nok. Wine with consentration and aromatic quality for the basic assortment.
Rheinhessen Riesling
Single grape variety, 100% Riesling. Prädikatswein Trocken or QbA Trocken, grapes selected from specific soil type and or Ortswein (soil type or villageś must appear on the front label). No sugar enrichments, spontaneous fermentation. Max 4 g/l sugar. Vintage 2017 on 75 cl PET-bottle. Price up to 175 nok. Aromatic quality with concentration for the basic assortment. Possible simultaneous launch of 50 cl or 37,5 cl.
Rheinhessen Silvaner
Singel grape variety, 100% organic Silvaner. Prädikatswein Trocken or QbA Trocken. Vintage 2016 or more recent in 75 cl glass bottles. Price up to 175 nok.
Aromatic quality with concentration for the basic assortment or possible one-lot.
Germany Rosé wine
Single grape variety, organic Pinot Noir / Spätburgunder. Vintage 2017 in light weight bottle or PET-bottle of 75 cl. Price up to 160 nok. Wine with aromatic quality and concentration for the basic assortment or possible one-lot.
