Tenders 2012, July-Desember - Germany
Vinmonopolet releases a list every year with tenders. They search for wines from specific areas with specified criteria, and all who produce this certain type of wine are welcome to submit their products to Vinmonopolet through their importer. For the second half of 2012 they are looking for two wines from Germany.
The November release
Both the German wines requested are to be released in November of 2012. This means that the wines have to be submitted to Vinmonopolet at the latest the 24th of May 2012. The importers need to have the wines ready in Norway for delivery as close to the deadlines as possible. Contact your importer now to make appointments for delivery.
Basic range
Vinmonopolet is looking for one new wine for their Basic range; the wine should be from Rheinhessen, a “Gutswein”, Riesling Trocken (Trocken need not appear on the label). The vintage they seek is 2011 in the price range above NOK 125,00. The lot size is not relevant.
One lot range or possible basic assortment
The other wine is from Mosel. A 100% Riesling QmP/Prädikatswein, Spätlese. It should be a single vineyard from Welhen, Zeltingen, Ürzig, Erden or Graach, with 15-74 g/l sugar, vintage 2002 or less recent. The number of bottles required is less than 360. This is described as a One-lot purchase, but possible basic assortment.
